The 2017 opens with the debut of ATEENA at the Fuorisalone of Milan during the MILAN DESIGN WEEK. The most important international location for anyone who wants to present his creations to a broad specialist audience and beyond.
In line with the ATEENA tradition we find sophisticated, exotic, robust woods combined with onyx, a natural material, the real star of the new collections, used for its unique functional and aesthetic characteristics: transparency, gradient colors and brightness.
The onyx as predominant material matches a wood never-used-before for furniture, it was normally used as a resistant bulletproof material. Modified High Density Wood for Fagus sylvatica, from certified forests sustainably managed PEFC.
